Dear Kent and Dawn, What an incredible week we have had. How lucky are we to have found you on the internet. Of all the places on the island we could have chosen, Caribbean Dream was the best choice! Waking each morning to a dip in the pool was a wonderful way to start the day. There was not one thing you didn't have for us to feel right at home. The view off the deck was beautiful. We will remember it always .If we are lucky enough to return to St. Croix we will surely contact you - maybe we will stay at Villa Dawn. Thank you again for a truly special vacation home. Dear Kent and Dawn, Caribbean Dream exceeded our expectations. This is truly a home away from home. We had a chance to explore St. Croix quite a bit. Our favorite places were Buck Island, Cane Bay and the Grotto Beach at the Buccaneer Hotel. We had a wonderful time, and we will hopefully return in the near future. All the best to you. We agree, Caribbean Dream exceeded our expectations. This was our 1st staying in a house and we loved it! We highly suggest a trip to Buck Island - snorkeling & lying on the beach - the white sand is wonderful. We missed the Turtle and Stingray but we did see the Barracuda. Lots of beautiful coral and colorful fish. We spent several days exploring the island via the " Historic Trail". Lots of beautiful views and many local markets on Saturday. The restaurants we enjoyed most were Off the Wall, Cheeseburgers in Paradise and Rumrunners. The best "sweets" - chocolate decadence @ Cane Bay Bar & Grill & cookies from the bakery at Schooner Bay Market. We also enjoyed breakfast at Morning Glory Cafe. Most of our time was spent eating breakfast & lunch on the deck, swimming (more floating than actual swimming), sunning and enjoying the views of Buck Island and the beautiful shades of blue of the Caribbean Sea. 12-26 OCT '02 Villa Dawn was better than expected. We felt very comfortable and at home. The Off the Wall, Cane Bay Dive Shop and the beach were within STUMBLING DISTANCE and the service at these places was outstanding. We enjoyed St. Croix so much, we're looking into buying a house there. Caribbean Dream's floor plan is perfect. Everything was open and scenic and secluded. We had no problems with anything at either of the houses and we do plan on coming back. We will keep in touch! :) The Ryan's |
